I'd love to get some statistics how these people's spamming helped them.

To the spammers-
Unfortunately I don't bother to see those sites so I have no idea what kind of content you have. But if you really have something interesting, create a goodwill in StumbleUpon and the system will reward you if you are looking for that. Do not try to kill the goose, give it 3-4 months of kindness at least. Your traffic will be a byproduct of that, and that's the only way around here I guess.
I'm giving you feedback because I'm a bit concerned over the hordes of Indian spammers around here going begging around (That is the general opinion that spamming creates about your country. Remeber N* 419? In the last year there have been too many spammers from India-my country- for their nationality to go unnoticed.)

Take care.

You are on the dot. People sending pretty ordinary pages and info re: some unexciting gadgets does leave a bad taste in your mouth.

And you think spammers read forums :-)

I don't think the spammers will bother to read this.. but as I see a platform to vent out my frustration so wont let it go.. Lately I had been blessed by some of the unique spammers.. They drop a message and then give you their website address.. and then the icing on the cake-- they ask u to click on the ads on their websites so that they can earn money.. ya the guy/girl explicitly gave me the reason why I should click on the ads.. i guess the art of spamming is touching a pathetic low :)

Yeah. Their solicitations are not even half as intelligent as the average spam in the mailbox.

You can deal with them diplomatically ...

Not much of an option when they send you boring page after page using SU's "share with freinds" facility.

Remove them from friends list, I think that should work.

Btw, I don't use StumbleUpon toolbar. I find it bulky and having too many features.

Not just on SU, but on all international forums. With the new found freedom many are yet to learn basic social skills.
